Floral Subscription FAQs

I have purchased a Flower Subscription. What can I expect?
Once the flower subscription is purchased, we will send you a Welcome Package with the first delivery. The welcome kit will include recipient name, address and telephone number. It will also include details on how to care for your blooms, how to cut the blooms etc. It will also details when you will receive your flowers. It will also include our contact information. If for any reason you need to make a change, you will know how to do that.

Can I choose the months that I would like the Florals delivered?
Once you make the first purchase, we will send out your subscription the next month and for the following consecutive months for the duration of your subscription.
 
Can I buy this as a gift?
Absolutely! Our Floral Subscription is a wonderful gift idea. Please indicate in the notes that the subscription is a gift. Please include the message that you would like included with the subscription. The Welcome Package will be sent to your recipient.

Where do you deliver?
We only deliver to these locations: Brampton, Bolton, Burlington, Concord, King City, Kleinburg, Maple, Markham, Milton, Mississauga, Oakville, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, Thornhill, Toronto (Downtown), and Woodbridge. 

Can I change the delivery address?
Absolutely! Please give us a call or email us to make the change. A change can be made once or twice, however, not every month, so please provide a delivery address in our delivery area. 

When will the flowers be delivered? 
When you purchase the subscription, you select the first delivery date when checking out. After that, if not otherwise stated, they will be delivered on the same day of the week each month. For example, if they are delivered on the first Wednesday of a month, they will always be delivered on the first Wednesday of each month. Of course, this can be changed if the recipient has a different preference. 

How is delivery calculated?
Delivery is calculated when you select the collection and duration of the subscription minus 1 delivery charged at check out. Standard delivery fee is $20. An example is, if you select for instance a 3 month duration, your total delivery charge is $60. $40 is calculated as part of the Subscription plus one delivery charge of $20 at check-out. Delivery address must be in our Delivery Area Locations. If this is purchased as a gift, please indicate in the special request, as well ensure that the recipient lives in or that we can deliver to a location in our delivery area.

How long will the flowers last?
Types of flowers and how long they last will all depend. On average you can expect your flowers to last 5-10 days. In your welcome kit, we will include tips on how to keep your flowers lasting longer. 

Will the flowers look the same each month?
Every month you can expect to receive a different arrangement. We strive to create floral arrangements that contain seasonal blooms. Different colours and different types of flowers will be used throughout your subscription.

Where will the flowers be left if I am not home?
During spring and summer months when the temperature is such that the flowers will not freeze or wilt, we can leave them in a safe place at your home. If you live in a condo, we are happy to leave the flowers with your concierge, as long as they will accept them. The best option is that as these are a monthly delivery to let us know if you may not be home, so we can arrange to deliver when you are.

What if I am going on holiday? 
Should you need to change your delivery for any reason, please email us at orders@gattoflowers.ca. We can change or postpone the delivery date depending on what works best for you. Please provide us at least 48 hours notice to change or postpone the date. 

Do I have to prepay? 
In order to receive the best price for your subscription, it must be paid upfront. 

Am I able to cancel my subscription? 
We don't offer refunds for subscriptions. If you are not happy with the arrangements you are receiving, we will add preferences and notes to customize your order so that we can create a floral arrangement you will love.
